Pan Amercian Trails/WTN Americas is part of the Partnership to Restore Franconia Ridge Loop, a four year project to restore Franconia Ridge loop sections of the Old Bridle Path, Falling Waters Trail, Franconia Ridge Trail and the Greenleaf Trail. Our focus is on raising funds for the New Hampshire State Parks sections of these trails.

When the Appalachian Mountain Club received $1.125 million federal funds to restore the Franconia Ridge loop trails, this left out critical sections of this historic and popular loop. In 2023 WTN Americas/Pan American Trails raised $192,000, enough to get us started. Thanks to a generous donor, we a have $100,000 pledged for the next four years—another $400,00—but we estimate it will take an additional $400,000 to complete the work. Our goal for 2024 is to match the 100,000 already pledged.
In addition contributing dollars support of professional trails crews, you can volunteer your time doing trail work. In partnership with NH State Parks and the Appalachian Club, we are organizing a series of volunteer trail work days on the Old Bridle Path between June and October, 2024.
